Opening of boo boo, an installation by Anne Hall
&
the launch of The Known World, a book by Sophie Mörner and Anne Hall

There will be guided meditation lead by a member of the Society for the Advancement of Inflammatory Conciousness, at some special moment between the hours of 6 and 9pm. Do wear comfortable clothing and come prepared to step across the great divide.

From Sophie Mörner:"I made a book - The Known World- in collaboration with Anne Hall.
In the winter of 2005/2006 me and Anne spent three months in the woods, dreaming, climbing, riding. We photographed each other, because that was what we knew the best.
The book is this moment of time - a visual history of freed hearts, without judgment on hurts and regrets and misunderstandings.
The images and texts are candid relics, remembrances and reimagined fantasies of the magic that occurred during our months together.
Our relationship abruptly ended, and we didn't speak for over two years.
When I moved into Capricious space six months ago, it somehow made sense to reconnect with Anne, and what we created during our time some years ago, and The Known World was born.

In conjunction with the release of the book, we are celebrating Anne's first solo foray into installation - boo boo.
Upon entering the gallery, one will be struck by the almost religious quality of the space and an uncertainty as to whether we have entered a place of communing, sacrifice, or exorcism. The "artifacts" and "altars" initiate a series of posthumous discourses between a seemingly absent entity and a psychotic.

Please come out tomorrow and celebrate this special moment with magic, mediations and drinks.
I would love to share it all with you."
