Scout Niblett Show in Paris. Nouveau Casino. Dec 18, 2007.
Despite a very difficult start - as usual, in those small venues in Paris, the sound is always trashy - she made a very perceptive show.
She's on stage. The crowd, indulgent, is waiting for her to start, swallowing each one of her words and music.
She's alone. One guitar. Playing drums. Sometimes. A tall intangible guy appears from time to time, also playing drums to accompany her. Her voice leads us into her rough enchanted world. It seems to be all about expectations.
Scout Niblett is much more than a grungy survivor, she's a delicate, magical and impalpable person.
We want more.
So, we met her yesterday, to talk about one of our future Fake-Real issue. It seems that she has tons of things to share. We're excited to enter into her realm. Let's be kidnapped by Neptune.
